East Gadsden Community Center Meeting Scheduled
Gadsden, Alabama – The City of Gadsden is hosting the first neighborhood meeting to share details and get input on the East Gadsden Community Center project. The meeting will be held on Saturday morning September 10 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the East Gadsden Community Center (921 Wilson Ave, Gadsden.)
The goal of the meeting is to gauge community interest and to hear direct input from community members on the plans, layout, facilities and amenities in the new community center. The multimillion dollar project will bring a much needed replacement of the Community Center in East Gadsden. Input from users of the new facility is imperative and will shape the decisions and priorities of the project.
The Lead Architect, Engineering Department, Parks and Recreation, Council Members and Mayor’s Office staff will be in attendance to share details, tentative timelines and hear opinions.
Further meetings are planned in the following months but the early meetings have the greatest potential to shape the future of the East Gadsden Community Center.
