Etowah County is under a Tropical Storm Warning. Currently, there is no end time for this warning. Sustained winds of 55-60 mph are forecasted for this area. Sustained winds continue for an extended period, without interruption. Wind gusts of 35-45 mph are expected. Rainfall potential is 1-3½ inches.
Please secure all outdoor furniture or items that could blow away and cause injury or damage. Make sure your pets or livestock are properly cared for. All preparations for the arrival of Hurricane Irma should be made at this time.
