GADSDEN, AL: California artist Bobbie Moline-Kramer will be at the Hardin Center on Thursday, October 19 from 5-7 pm for a gallery talk and reception for her exhibition As Above, So Below.
The exhibition contains 64 pieces of her recent works on paper and wood in various combinations of graphite, oil, acrylic, and colored gesso. They feature landscapes, tree branches, and creatures—primarily monkeys and birds—emerging into perceptibility from a mottled limbo. Moline-Kramer will discuss her pieces and her process with those in attendance and light refreshments will be served. The cost of attending the gallery talk and reception is $8 per person and free for Hardin Center members.
The exhibition will remain on view until December 31. The Hardin Center’s exhibitions and Imagination Place Children’s Museum are open 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 1 pm – 5 pm on Sunday. The Hardin Center will be open daily with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
