Gadsden, AL. – The Gadsden-Etowah Veterans Parade set for 2 pm on November 8th is fast approaching and applications are starting to roll in. Greater Gadsden Area Tourism, the City of Gadsden, and the Gadsden-Etowah Patriots Association have partnered together to produce the 2017 parade. All units wishing to participate must submit an application. The deadline for applying is November 3rd.
“With several weeks to go before the parade, we want to make sure folks that want to participate get the chance to get their application in,” commented Hugh Stump III, executive director for the Tourism board. “We need to start the buzz about the parade early and get people involved. We want to make it a great parade to support our veterans and show them our appreciation for everything they have done for all of us.”
