Downtown Gadsden- It’s almost November! And that means First Friday is just around the corner. On Friday November 3rd, Downtown Gadsden Inc. invites you to come downtown to enjoy the festivities and the beautiful fall weather at First Friday. This month, we fall back to our winter hours from 5pm-8pm. Downtown merchants will be open late for shopping and what a great opportunity to get an early start on your Christmas shopping! Food vendors will line the 400 block of Broad Street and Classic cars will cruise in and be on display. Also, make sure to explore our local art galleries and discover all that is great about Downtown Gadsden.
An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 3rd, at the Gadsden Museum of Art. Accompanying Gadsden’s First Friday, the reception will feature the works of Paul Cordes Wilm, Jeff Brown, John Gargano and Christopher Wade. The museum will also have a Korean War exhibit that will showcase different aspects surrounding the war.
The Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts Center and Imagination will be open with extended hours to 8pm.
As a reminder to all, pets are not allowed at First Friday.
