Gadsden, AL: Saturday, December 9th, from 10am-Noon, children will have a chance to visit with Santa and enjoy cookies and milk at the eighth annual Snacks with Santa at the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. This free event, sponsored by Downtown Gadsden, Inc. will be held on the first floor. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture that special moment of your little one with Santa
While you’re there visiting Santa, make sure you check out the Let It Snow: The Exhibit at the children’s exhibit space in the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. An indoor winter wonderland complete with "snowball pit", a snow slide, sock-footed ice skating rink, a snow pit where kids can make snow angels and more. You can also take the time to see the Festival of Trees. This year’s theme is “National Parks and National Monuments” and each tree highlights a different park or monument. The exhibit features more than thirty trees decorated by elementary school children and local non-profits. Regular admission will be charged for these exhibits.
