Downtown Gadsden - Third Thursday, the Downtown Gadsden Inc. free concert series, continues on July 19 at the water wall, located between the Pitman Theater and the Downtown Civic Center. The performers for the concert will be the Hubacher Brothers. The duo is Howell Mathews on keyboard, harmonica and vocals and Marty Calvert on guitars and vocals. They play primarily soft and classic rock from the 60s and 70s.
The 2018 Third Thursday season runs from May through September. Concerts take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm; gates open at 5:00 pm. Attendees are invited to bring their coolers or to purchase their meals to-go from a downtown restaurant. Lawn chairs are encouraged because the available seating at the water wall is limited and on a first come first serve basis.
The remainder of the season will feature the Keegan Bost on August 16 and Ragan & Adam on September 20.
"If the conditions are too hot for the outdoor location or if it is raining, we'll move to inside the Pitman," says Kay Moore, DGI Director. "Follow us on Facebook for the latest information on the day of the concert."
