GADSDEN, AL: Get your tutu on for the popular fun run with an all new makeover and location. The fifth annual TUTU2K takes place October 18th at 6 PM with a new location at the James D. Wildlife Park in
Gadsden. New to the fun run is the addition of a Pup Yoga session in the newly installed dog park. With online registration, runners/walkers can bring their dog along to enjoy a fun pup yoga stretch session
led by DDC faculty, Krystin Baird, along with mascot Irish Wolfhounds Khaleesi and Drogo McRae.
The tutu fun run has also added a “color run” to the event with participants celebrating a larger than life party equipped with music and color throws, creating a myriad of vivid color combinations. The
TUTU2K is open to all ages and abilities. Participants may run or walk. The only requirement is that ALL participants must wear a tutu!
The fun-run fundraiser benefits the students and programs of the Downtown Dance Conservatory. Door prizes and awards will be given for most creative tutu/costume and winners within age groups.
Registration is $25 for individuals. Family registration (families of 3 to 6) is $55. Registration includes a tee shirt, color throw, and the optional pup yoga session prior to the run. Check-in begins at 5:30 at the
pavilion of the Martin Wildlife Park (behind the Gadsden Mall) . Pup Yoga begins at 6 PM with the fun
run beginning at 6:30. Registration is open online at www.culturalarts.com/register-for-the-tutu2kcolor-
