- This Spring the Gadsden Art Association is thrilled to host the return of the Art on the Rocks at the Falls on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, 2019. This juried show will feature original handmade arts and crafts. The show will be held in the ticketed portion of Gadsden, Alabama’s Noccalula Falls Park and will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Art on the Rocks at the Falls is an opportunity for local and regional artists and crafters to share their talent in Northeast Alabama. This is an outdoor (rain or shine) event and spaces are limited.
Along with food vendors, we are currently accepting applications for arts and crafts vendors, especially fine arts, pottery, photography, textiles, stained glass, blown glass, soap, and candles. (No resale or direct product sales) The deadline to apply is Thursday, January 31st. The vendor application is available at https://www.artgadsden.com/aotr-application.html. Entrants may email the Gadsden Art Association, at email@example.com, for an application. If selected, the vendor fee is $100.00 ($125 w/electricity) for both days. Greater Gadsden area Tourism is hosting a Vendor dinner on Saturday evening, after the show.
Along with the arts and crafts show that weekend, you will also be able to enjoy all the other attractions at the park: the train ride, petting zoo, Pioneer Village, gardens, hiking trails and Noccalula Falls itself. Regular park admission does apply to all visitors, $6 (12 and older), $4 child admission (age 4-11), and 3 and younger free. We hope you’ll come out to celebrate the return of Art on the Rocks at the Falls.
