[ARCHIVED] Downtown Gadsden Gives Back invites local nonprofits

Downtown Gadsden- March 3rd is First Friday in Downtown Gadsden!  From 5pm-7pm, Downtown Gadsden Inc. will be partnering with The United Way of Etowah County to host the sixth annual “Downtown Gadsden Gives Back” event.  This event is to help local, nonprofit organizations make the public more aware of their missions and to have some fun while doing it.

Downtown Gadsden Gives Back is for nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3) title.  Organizations have the opportunity to set up an information table and most groups have games and other fun activities for everyone to participate in.  This event is to raise awareness, not to raise funds.  If you are involved in an organization that would like to participate in the event, please contact the DGI office at 256.547.8696.  The deadline to join the event is Monday, February 27th

Downtown merchants will stay open for the event and welcome everyone to come in and shop with them and the restaurants of Downtown Gadsden will be ready to serve you a tasty dinner. Also, make sure you have time to explore the art exhibits at the Gadsden Museum of Art. Take the kids to play at the new exhibit at the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts and Imagination Place, Super Kids Save the World.
