Third Thursday, the Downtown Gadsden Inc. free concert series, continues on June 20th. This event will take place at the water wall, located between the Pitman Theater and the Downtown Civic Center. The Great Americans, Rock and Delta-Slide Blues group, will be performing this month.
The 2019 Third Thursday season runs from May through September. Concerts take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm; gates open at 5:00 pm. Attendees are invited to bring their coolers or to purchase their meals to-go from a downtown restaurant. Lawn chairs are encouraged because the available seating at the water wall is limited and on a first come first serve basis.
"If the conditions are too hot for the outdoor location or if it is raining, we'll move to inside the Pitman," says Kay Moore, DGI Director. "Follow us on Facebook for the latest information on the day of the concert."
