2019 Christmas at the Falls to Open on Thanksgiving

Christmas at the Falls

Celebrate the holiday season with Noccalula Falls and the City of Gadsden at Christmas at the Falls. Enjoy millions of lights throughout the park with spectacular views from the paved walking trails or from the vantage of a ride on the park’s train. During your visit to see the light displays, you can stop for activities including cookie decorating, the petting zoo and hot chocolate.

While visiting Christmas at the Falls don’t miss a chance to visit with Santa Claus, take a picture and drop a letter to the North Pole in Santa’s special mailbox at the Old Post Office in the Pioneer Village. A variety of special events will happen throughout the season including visits from the Grinch on Mondays. Check the Noccalula Falls social media accounts for the special events schedule as it can be weather dependent.

Christmas at the Falls kicks off on Thanksgiving Day November 28th at 5 p.m. and runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through December 23rd. On weekends in December before the Christmas holiday(December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22) the park will open at 3 Christmas at the Falls will reopen December 26th and conclude on January 5th. Tickets for Monday -Thursday for ages 4 and older are $8 and Friday-Sunday tickets are $10. Children 3 and younger are admitted free to Christmas at the Falls. Tickets can be purchased at the Noccalula Falls Entry Pavilion each day when the event opens to the public.

In an effort to speed up the ticketing process and for an added convenience to our Christmas at the Falls visitors, we’re offering ticket sales online. You can purchase advance tickets at http://www.noccalulafallspark.com/. Advance ticket holders can skip the purchase line and head straight to the entry pavilion with their paper or smartphone barcode ticket. Weather conditions can cause the closure of Christmas at the Falls as the train cannot run in inclement weather. Weather closures will be posted on social media channels and can be confirmed by phone at 256-549-4663.
